The board of directors and the management team of Visit Dalarna met in Tällberg, Sweden. They both reflected on the past year, the first year of Visit Dalarna, and looked ahead in order to develop into an even stronger organization.
The destination company is owned by 15 local authorities in the province of Dalarna and in 2017 they were handed the task to market the region, represent the local tourism industry, push developmental issues and be responsible for the tourism offices. The company has around 60 employees all over Dalarna, the head office is located in Rättvik.
The new CEO, Jonas Rosén, was given a good opportunity to learn more about the organization and at the same time introduce himself.
Jonas Rosén was previously the regional head of the business consulting company LRF Konsult and started his new job as CEO for Visit Dalarna on November 1st.
