Add to that the opportunity to train your own leaders to become skilled in using this approach and supporting each other in all internal planning. That is LOTS\u00ae.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For a long time, people have been talking about an outside-in perspective (perhaps we were pioneers). How important it is for companies and organizations to truly understand their customers, students, or patients, and develop their operations and offerings based on people\u2019s changing needs and desires and the changes in the world around us. There are many perspectives, many who can offer support, and countless processes to choose from. But the LOTS\u00ae holistic view of people, leadership and organizations, and the way we teach and apply it, ensures that learning is turned into action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tool\/process that later became trademarked as LOTS\u00ae was first introduced in 1973. Since then, hundreds of thousands of people have participated in processes using LOTS\u00ae. It consists of a philosophy, a common language and a tool\/process. Patients suffering from cataracts regained their vision thanks to Healon\u00ae and an intraocular lens. The success was facilitated by LOTS\u00ae, which was used to plan, implement, and follow up on operations.<\/p>\n<p>The tool was introduced on May 22, 1973, in response to the fact that the need for change was often met with either reorganization or a variety of scattered activities. Over the years, Hans \u00c5kerblom has continued to refine the process, and today we operate based on the 22nd version.
